Major refurbish of Industrial manufacturing facility Chessington Surrey
Refurbishment of main factory. Single skin big 6 asbestos cement sheeting and under purlin fibreboard lining panel replaced using 1120 sq. metres of 80mm thick Corus Panels and Profiles HPS200 Merlin Grey Trisomet composite panels. 90 linear metres of asbestos cement gutters were replaced with new galvanised steel units. A 2 storey building was demolished to make way for a flat to pitch conversion to create a uniform roof profile. The companies operations were largely maintained throughout the construction phase of the project by using a combined debris and safety net and undertaking the works in sections. 7 week construction phase during February and March 2007.
