The sites project management found Waterrail Roofing Services via our web site. We were called to site to advise on a possible solution to a totally failed gutter in the turbine hall of the power station. 52 Linear Metres of boundary gutter relined with H.G Sharman Ltd Rubberised plygene gutterline system. A galvanised steel flashing break pressed to match the existing profile was fixed in the sole of the gutter to prevent ponding and puncture by the existing totally failed gutter. 4no. outlets and 2no. stop ends and 2no. weir overflows were heat welded to the liner to create a joint and detail free gutter. Because the sole of the gutter was 500mm wide and the sites high exposure location holding down straps were also fixed at 2.0m centre to prevent wind uplifting the liner. Badly rusted roof sheeting which had been located beneath steam pipes were also overlaid with a matching profile and the total roof area was brush and petrol blower cleaned to remove an accumulation of debris. |
