| Following tornado damage to 120 sq. metres of a 5 year old factory roof directly over production line. Temporary repair/weathering carried out on using Heras fencing and curtain sides from articulated lorries to enable production to restart. Youngman stagings scaffold boards and polyethylene were then added to offer a long term temporary weathering. The roof was then replaced in a shut down period latter in the year. |

The existing wired glass roof-lights were replaced with triple glazed solar reflective glass in aluminium frames. All works were carried out under a temporary roof with fully boarded internal work platforms which was double sheeted to contain dust and debris during the stripping operation so that the facility could continue to operated throughout the construction phase of the works. |

The steelwork was shot blasted treated and repainted on site before erection. External shadowline double sided plastisol eaves gutters were installed supported off of the new roof sheeting using purpose made support arm brackets. The hangar was originally used by a television company Chatsworth Television to film the channel 4 Crystal Maze series of programs hosted by Richard O’Brien before being used to house and restore aircraft. |
